Minimum qualifications:

• Experience with the programming language Jax.
• Interest/tendency to hold paramount: rationalism, effective altruism, humanism / others benefit (internally and externally), and the other values of an organization and its members.
• Appreciation of the intellectual experience of others and a desire to facilitate the intellectual flourishing of peers.
• Motivation to flourish as an independent intellectual.
• Interest in the opportunity to independently create/invent, initiate collaborations, identify and expand new research areas, and so on.
• Passion for one or more areas of Mathematics and one or more application area in which we work or are interested in working.


Preferred qualifications:

• Experience contributing to the egalitarian culture of a nonprofit, forward-thinking and innovative in regard to internal culture from a humanist standpoint.

Responsibilities:

• Identify new areas in which to do creative research and engineering.
• Leverage process/infrastructure to establish collaborations and resources around interesting new ideas.
• Work with collaborators to publish academic papers and patents.
• Collaborate, as relevant, internally with Research Scientists to prototype and explore new ideas including validating and expand value and other hypotheses, as is  standard in whichever relevant area of research.
